Built by Fort Lewis students.
Durango Rental Care started with a simple idea: that the discipline and work ethic of college students could deliver a cleaner, more reliable reset for short-term rental hosts than anyone else in town.
From a dorm-room idea to Durango's reset standard.
We're a small crew of Fort Lewis College students who saw a gap in Durango's short-term rental market. Hosts were stretched thin, turnovers were inconsistent, and the big cleaning companies treated each unit like a number. We knew we could do better — and we knew we could do it for less.
What started as a handful of weekend resets for friends has grown into a student-operated service covering the Durango community. Every operator on our team brings the same thing: tuition-driven hustle, attention to detail, and pride in leaving a space better than we found it.
Being student-run isn't a discount — it's our edge. We're accountable to each other, to our hosts, and to the town we call home. That's why we treat every turnover like a precision operation, and why our hosts keep coming back.
Three principles, every single turnover.
Scholar Discipline
We run turnovers the way we run our studies — with checklists, accountability, and zero shortcuts.
Local Pride
We're Durango-raised and Durango-rooted. Your property and your guests are our community.
Real Ownership
Every operator has skin in the game. We answer to our hosts — and to each other.
Professionally engineered by the community's brightest.
"Student-run" isn't a compromise — it's our edge. Fort Lewis College students bring discipline, accountability, and the kind of work ethic that only tuition-driven operators deliver. This is proof of work.
